Inventory Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Inventory Accountant to join our client in Panorama City. In this role, you will be responsible for cash reconciliation, accounting, inventory management, and ensuring timely communication of the latest sales information to support business growth.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily cash reconciliations for approximately 10 transactions, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
Track and manage inventory, including recording incoming and outgoing stock, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining up-to-date inventory records.
Calculate transaction details, sales commissions, and profits.
Generate and maintain detailed daily reports of cash flow, inventory levels, and profit margins.
Collaborate with sales and accounting teams to ensure seamless coordination and accurate reporting.
Assist with basic accounting tasks, such as data entry, invoice tracking, and expense recording.
Identify and resolve any discrepancies in cash or inventory records.
Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant industry regulations.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience with daily cash reconciliation and inventory control.
Basic accounting knowledge, including understanding of costs, commissions, and profit calculations.
Proficiency with Excel.
Previous experience in retail or distribution is preferred.
