Production Supervisor

LHH Recruitment Solutions is recruiting for Production Supervisors for a client located in the Kansas City area that has expressed an upcoming need to directly hire a couple of people to join its team. This position will report to the Operations Manager and will oversee safe and proper manufacturing of the company's products. In order to do this, the candidate will troubleshoot issues, enforce efficient day to day operations, and manage a team of production employees to make sure that consistent and quality goods are constantly being produced. This is a fully onsite, full time role (plus overtime as needed) that offers a competitive base salary, bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities include:

• Manage all equipment, materials and shift personnel to ensure optimal performance
• Makes sure that the parts, products and machinery are in line with regulatory standards
• Lead a large team of 50-60 production workers and monitor adherence to procedure
• Ensure standards are met regarding production, quality, safety and material handling
• Track KPIs and metrics to ensure teams meets/exceeds departmental goals

Qualifications needed:

• Bachelor's degree is preferred; commensurate related professional experience will be considered in lieu of education
• 3 or more years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is required
• Automotive industry experience is highly preferred
• Plastic injection molding experience is helpful
• Solid communication and supervisory skills are needed
