Are you an experienced IP paralegal interested in a full-time, permanent job opportunity in Orlando, FL? You will be working on trademark, patent, and copyright prosecution work. You will be responsible for maintaining he US/foreign patent and trademark docketing database; internal docketing; generating reports as requested; submitting patent, trademark, and copyright assignments and security interests with the USPTO; and preparing domestic and foreign patent documentation, including domestic trademark applications, trademark renewal documentation.The right candidate will be highly knowledgeable regarding US and international patent docketing and patent/trademark prosecution and registration procedures. Qualifications:
· 3+ years of IP patent prosecution experience, including USPTO patent filing
· Experience with the following softwares: Microsoft Suite (Word, Styles, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), PDF Pro, Adobe Acrobat, docket managing systems, and USPTO and WIPO websites
· Comprehensive knowledge of IP law and USPTO practices
· Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail
· Excellent written and oral communications with impeccable grammar and spelling
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible, positive attitude
Salary: $75,000-$85,000/yr.
