Contract Duration: 1 year contract


Qualifications:



  • PMP certification is required for all Project Management roles.


  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.


  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.


  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


  • Previous experience with:



    • Creating Work Orders and Work Order Tasks.


    • Material and Service Requests.


    • Assisting with monthly reporting and project closeout.


  • Experience in safety briefings and project walkdowns is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with bid package preparation and contractor estimate audits.


  • Familiarity with asset mapping and project closeout procedures.

Position Overview:


We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team located in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of projects under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager. Your contributions will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


This hybrid role requires excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in project management tools. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, possesses a keen eye for detail, and is eager to grow their project management expertise.


Responsibilities:



  • Provide direct support to the Project Manager during meetings, including safety briefings, note-taking, and documentation.


  • Assist in developing project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation strategies.


  • Coordinate project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.


  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify and address issues or risks.


  • Prepare and process essential project documentation, such as:



    • Contract Payment Authorizations (CPAs)


    • Invoice Checklists


    • Contract Requisitions (CREQs)


    • Contract Change Requests (CCRs)


  • Create and manage Work Orders, Material Requests, and Service Requests.


  • Assist with monthly reporting on project/program progress.


  • Maintain organized project documentation via Work Folders and OneDrive.


  • Support project closeout activities, including clearing FIN005 Reports and assisting with Asset Map Rows (AMRs).


  • Contribute to bid package creation, bid evaluations, and auditing contractor/engineer estimates.


  • Participate in project walkdowns to review safety and project objectives.
