HR Onboarding Specialist - Norwood, OH
Are you passionate about creating a positive first impression for new hires?
LHH is seeking a detail-oriented HR Onboarding Specialist to join our client’s team in Norwood, OH and support a valued client! In this role, you will be responsible for the entire onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition into their new roles.
Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate all aspects of the onboarding process, including scheduling, logistics, and materials preparation.
Conduct new hire orientations, introducing them to the company culture, values, policies, and procedures.
Facilitate the completion of I-9 and other required paperwork, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Assist new hires with benefits enrollment, IT setup, and other administrative tasks.
Serve as a point of contact for new hires, answering questions and providing ongoing support throughout the onboarding journey.
Maintain and update onboarding materials and processes to ensure effectiveness.
Collaborate with hiring managers, departments, and IT to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in HR or a related field.
Proven experience in onboarding new hires.
Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, including I-9 compliance.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with HRIS (Human Resource Information System) a plus.
Compensation: $20 - $22 per hour
