Salary: $50-85/hr.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Consultant for a 3-4 month project based in Newark, DE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in multi-entity healthcare environments and a deep understanding of revenue cycle processes. This role requires a commitment to the project duration and proficiency in both versions of QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee accounting operations for multiple healthcare entities.

• Ensure accurate and timely month-end close processes.

• Handle general ledger, financial statements, and revenue cycle management.

• Maintain day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with GAAP.

• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and Controller on project-based tasks.

• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in multi-entity healthcare accounting.

• Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes.

• Proficiency in both versions of QuickBooks (Desktop and Online).

• Ability to commit to the full duration of the project (3-4 months).

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
