$35.00 - $45.00 per Hour
LHH has partnered with a renown firm who is seeking a temporary litigation paralegal for a 6 month or longer project. The ideal candidate will have 4-10 years of experience with complex commercial litigation cases. Experience with complex insurance defense cases is preferred.
Location: Hybrid 2-3 times per week in any East Coast office (Boston, Charleston, Charlotte, Harrisburg, Miami, New York, Newark, Pittsburgh, Raleigh, Morrisville, DC or Wilmington)
Responsibilities: - Assist attorneys in managing all phases of litigation cases from inception to resolution.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and other legal precedents to support case strategy.
- Review Corporate insurance programs.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and expert witnesses, ensuring timely updates on case progress.
- Organize and prepare trial materials, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial notebooks.
Qualifications:
-4-10 years of experience as a paralegal handling complex litigation matters
- Paralegal certification or relevant legal studies degree from an accredited institution.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Pay Rate: $35-$45/hour
