Bankruptcy Paralegal

LHH Recruitment Solutions, in partnership with a prominent law firm in New York, is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to join their team.

This position is hybrid – 3 days in office.

Responsibilities:

· Preparing and filing pleadings and other legal documents

· Supporting attorneys focused on Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 matters in NY and NJ bankruptcy courts

· Handling case management

· Tracking deadlines

· Corresponding with clients and courts

· Assisting with hearing and trial preparation

Requirements:

· 3+ years of recent experience in complex bankruptcy matters – Chapters 7, 11, and 13 required

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $85,000-$130,000 per year depending on experience.
