Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team in Nashville. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in our finance department, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of financial transactions and reports.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Analyze financial information to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Support the finance team in various projects and initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role (1-3 years preferred)
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
