My client in Morris County, NJ is looking to hire a Compensation Analyst.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Recruiting staff to conduct job evaluations, market pricing, and create new jobs within the HCM system (Workday).
Serve as the technical project lead for the merit and bonus review process, providing support to HR as needed.
Assess and analyze compensation programs, making recommendations to ensure effectiveness and timely execution.
Analyze compensation-related transactions to ensure compliance with established compensation programs.
Conduct in-depth analyses of base and variable pay.
Participate in the third-party salary survey submission process to accurately assess the relevant salary market and maintain the company's competitive compensation position.
Monitor and maintain the integrity of compensation-related data in the HCM (Workday) platform.
Assist in developing, implementing, and administering compensation policies and programs.
Support Executive Compensation activities, including participant eligibility, reporting, and program communication.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of experience in Compensation
Working towards Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification is strongly desired.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent technical understanding; knowledge of Workday preferred.
Experience with the Radford Comp Database, Mercer Salary Data, and ERI (Economics Research Institute) is a plus.
Knowledge of stock-based compensation and equity accounting a plus
