LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accountant for a contract role with the potential to extend or convert. The ideal candidate will be responsible for calculating and analyzing future channel inventory POS reserves and program reserves, providing strategic insights through advanced reporting and analytics. This role involves exposure to a wide range of business activities and interaction across geographies with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Perform monthly and quarterly revenue close tasks, including posting journal entries and preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare accurate and timely monthly and quarterly revenue reports, reconciling data between reporting tools and GL, and creating management reporting packages.
Update historical POS and Special Pricing Authorization rates, sell-through, and ending channel inventory data to prepare monthly future rate tables.
Lead future rate table meetings and gross margin analytics discussions with BU Finance team, Revenue Controller, and Revenue team.
Perform reporting analytics to identify variances and the impact of business activities on revenue.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, IT, Sales Operations, Channel Inventory POS Management, and BU Finance teams to improve revenue reporting processes.
Coordinate audit requests to support internal management and external audits, ensuring all assigned revenue PBC deliverables are completed accurately.
Qualifications:
6+ years of combined experience in audit and corporate revenue accounting in the semiconductor technology or hardware technology industry.
Strong experience in corporate revenue operations, particularly in rebate accounting and future channel inventory POS.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams at different organizational levels.
Strong communication and data analytical skills.
Proficiency in SAP/Oracle Cloud, OBIEE, and Power Business Intelligence.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
