We are actively searching to add a Financial Analyst to our team in our Sacramento, CA office! We’re a well-established HVAC firm and are looking to add to our team due to some significant growth!
While we are certainly looking for a qualified candidate on paper, who you are as a person matters greatly to us as we have a very collaborative team.
We are currently working an onsite schedule in our Sacramento, CA office (though an option to work one day from home will be available after training)
This is a direct hire position
The compensation for this role ranges from 80-95000/year DOE

Duties
Perform detailed reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Employ Business Intelligence tools, particularly Excel BI (Power Pivot and Power Query), to analyze and visualize data.
Develop and enhance analytical and reporting functions to support business decision-making.
Interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights to drive business strategies.
Use knowledge of operations and business processes to extract meaningful conclusions from data.
Create clear and impactful visual presentations of data findings for stakeholders.
Utilize tools like Excel, Power BI, or other visualization software to communicate insights effectively.
Oversee the acquisition and compilation of financial data from various sources.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency throughout the reporting process.
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and precision.
Ability to initiate relationships with employees across the company and to relate well to a dynamic and diverse team working in a variety of divisions: Field, Plant, Service, and Office.
Collaborates effectively with colleagues across the company, team members, departments, and stakeholders???on individual tasks, mutual projects, and as part of cross-functional teams to successfully complete projects and achieve business objectives.
Listens skillfully. Absorbs what the other person is seeking to communicate. Listens for content that the other person may not be able to express. Helps others to feel heard.
Ability to positively interact with leaders at all levels of the company from Superintendents to Senior Executives.
Creates and provides effective visual presentations of data findings.
Translates complex data findings into understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role, with a strong background in FP&A.
Proven experience using Prophix (nice to have) or similar FP&A tools.
Demonstrated proficiency in Business Intelligence tools, particularly Excel BI (Power Pivot, Power Query).
HVAC Contractor experience nice to have.
