LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our client’s team in
Lynwood, California. This is a permanent, full-time salaried position offering a competitive benefits package. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of full-cycle payroll experience processing at 150+ employees.
In this role, you will:
Responsibilities:
• Process full-cycle payroll for 150+ employees
• Process checks accurately and establish payroll procedures
• Prepare journal entries relating to payroll
• Prepare garnishments
• Review and reconcile reports regarding benefit deductions and 401k
• Timely and accurate completion of weekly, bi-weekly and quarterly time and attendance tracking and data entry
• Assisting with end-user training for new hires, timekeepers, and cost center managers.
• Researching reported Clock Issues
• Monitoring employee status changes and the impact on their benefits
• Responding to employee e-mails and phone calls
We are looking for a candidate with:
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of full-cycle payroll experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education
• Prior experience using PAYCOR required
• Strong oral and written communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $52,000 - $65,000
