As an Associate Buyer you'll collaborate closely with the Buyer to manage product assortment, financial planning, and vendor relationships in your category.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate vendor and product information.
Set up new vendors and manage seasonal and basic program orders.
Monitor Purchase Orders for on-time shipping and manage order files.
Develop strong vendor partnerships and negotiate pricing and terms.
Visit stores to understand challenges and optimize product flow.
Manage pricing, sales, and profit margins.
Provide direction on new SKUs and programs
Qualifications:
2+ years of purchasing experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
