Our client, a food distribution company located in Downtown Los Angeles, is seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join their team. We’re looking for an accounting professional with a keen eye for detail and a strong foundation in accounting principles.
Salary Range: $65,000.00-$75,000.00
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately write and enter journal entries for two companies, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded promptly.
Conduct thorough monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, maintaining the highest level of accuracy in all account analyses.
Perform daily reconciliations of Control and subsidiary ledgers, as well as cash flow, to maintain financial integrity.
Develop a deep understanding of all accounting systems to assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Manage the transmission of payroll to ADP and meticulously review payroll reports for accuracy.
Record and enter sales receipts as necessary, contributing to the overall financial health of the company.
Fulfill other accounting duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Intermediate-Advanced Excel, Intermediate Word, Outlook
