Job Title: IP Practice Coordinator - Hybrid

Employment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $70,000 - $95,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits
LHH is seeking a highly organized and proactive IP Practice Coordinator to support an Intellectual Property Partner in their client's Las Vegas office. Duties:
- Communication: Regularly communicate with attorneys, paralegals, and professional staff regarding task statuses, needed inputs, and relevant updates.
- Task Management for Matters: Identify, coordinate, and ensure the completion of tasks, confirming the Partner’s review and timely delivery of work products to clients.
- Email Management: Review a high volume of incoming emails, ensuring timely and appropriate task distribution and responses.
- Meeting Coordination: Attend meetings, video conferences, and phone calls, preparing agendas, taking detailed minutes, and following up on action items.
- Client Inquiries: Ensure timely responses to client inquiries and coordinate follow-ups on pending matters.
- Scheduling: Manage and coordinate the Partner’s schedule, including arranging speaking engagements and conference attendance.
- Client Work Product Development: Assist in developing forms and templates for client work products.
- Client Reporting: Assist in meeting client reporting requirements, including preparing slide decks and presentation materials.
- Billing Assistance: Assist with the review of client bills, ensuring compliance with billing guidelines and accurate expense capture.
- Special Projects: Assist the Partner with various special projects as needed.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a legal or administrative support role.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal or Administrative Assistant, preferably in a law firm or legal environment.
- Strong understanding of Intellectual Property law and legal terminology is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and legal research tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Some duties require in-office presence.
- This position is subject to export control laws.
