Job Summary: The Benefits Specialist will be responsible for managing and administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a thorough understanding of benefits regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
Handle leave of absence requests and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and provide guidance on plan options and enrollment processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date benefits records and documentation.
Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure seamless benefits administration.
Conduct benefits orientations and provide ongoing education to employees about their benefits.
Stay current with changes in benefits regulations and industry trends.
Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in benefits and leave administration.
Strong knowledge of federal and state benefits regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
