LHH has partnered again with a local La Jolla based biotech company in search for a temp AP Specialist. If you live in San Diego and are an unemployed AP Specialist familiar with both 2-way and 3-way match and able to start right away, this position might align well for you.
Responsibilities of this Accounts Payable Specialist in San Diego include:
Full cycle accounts payable processing handling a volume of about 150 invoices/wk.
Researching and coding of invoices.
Batch AP and send to Manager for approvals.
Reconciliation of the accounts payables during month end.
Ability to identify the need for sales and use tax accrual.
CC reconciliations
Minimum requirements:
4+ years of accounts payable experience ideally within the biotech industry.
Detail oriented, organized, and accurate.
Familiarity with Excel and prior experience working with Great Plains and Concur.
Good communication skills able to work under minimum supervision.
