LHH Recruitment Solutions’ (pka Parker+Lynch) is working with a trusted client north of Indianapolis looking for an Assistant Controller. This client is in the food production space, covers most of the Midwest, and is over a billion in revenue. The role is open due to growth, will report to the Corporate Controller, and will eventually have a team of five reporting to them.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage corporate accounting team
Financial statements
Journal entries
Reconciliations
GL maintenance
Financial reporting
Assist in annual audit
Ensure GAAP compliance
Drive process improvement
Assist in M&A DD
Qualifications:
Bachelors in accounting or finance
5+ years’ progressive accounting experience
Licensed CPA
Foundation in big 4 public audit required
SOX & JSOX environment experience preferred
Food production industry experience preferred
