Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Oak Ridge, TN. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and advancement within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
- Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and perform check runs
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any issues
- Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries
- Assist with month-end closing and other accounting projects as needed
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related field
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Experience with accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
