Licensed Patent Agent / EE / ME Do you have a passion for innovation and a solid technical background? LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a talented Licensed Patent Agent to join our Am Law 200 client's team in Kansas City, MO. The Role:
Prepare, file, and prosecute patent applications for inventions in the electrical & mechanical fields.
Evaluate patentability, conduct research, and draft responses to patent office actions.
Collaborate with patent attorneys to secure patents for clients.
Qualifications:
2+ years of US law firm experience in domestic and foreign patent prosecution (electrical or mechanical engineering required).
MS or PhD in engineering is required.
Registration with the USPTO is required.
Excellent analytical & writing skills, strong client service focus, and a collaborative work style.
Competitive Pay and Flexible Hybrid Schedule:
Competitive salary ($100,000 - $185,000), comprehensive benefits package, and a supportive work environment.
Hybrid schedule: 2 days in-office, 3 days WFH.
