LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist Kansas City Metro. This role would be 100% onsite. Seeking to hire on a direct hire basis and candidate must have at least 2-5 years of experience at a minimum.
Duties
- Process and manage accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors
- Manage and maintain vendor records, including addresses and payment terms
- Verify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in invoices and payments
- Review and approve or reject vendor invoices according to company policies and procedures
- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accurate financial records
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Ceridian to manage and track accounts payable
- Assist with benefits administration and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other accounting team members to ensure efficient and effective accounting processes
- Perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries and general ledger postings
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all company policies and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service to vendors and other stakeholders
- Perform other accounting tasks as required by management
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Accounting or a related field
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar
- Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Ability to accurately and efficiently process and manage accounts payable
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Salary: $45,000 - $55,000
