LHH Recruitment Solutions (formerly Ajilon) is currently seeking a SENIOR ELECTRIAL ENGINEER in the Indianapolis area. This well-established manufacturing company is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in the Aviation Field. Key activities of the role include designing electrical schematics and components for thermodynamic systems. The annual salary range for this position is $100-150k plus excellent benefits, 401k matching, and PTO.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS:
Provide Electrical Engineering technical leadership to the team during the project development, execution, and post-shipment phases.
Responsible to meet/exceed KPI targets & on time deliveries.
Manage and coordinate projects using the design skills in the Global Engineering Service (GES) Centers in India.
Support review of project specifications and requirements during the project development phase prior to the successful sale of a project.
Lead (as needed) development of technical solutions for combustion systems during execution phase or at the site (i.e. post-shipment).
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
Asociate degree in Electrical Engineering can be considered with 10+ years experience.
Minimum of 10+ years of total electrical engineering related experience with a 4 years’ minimum hands-on experience with reading electrical schematics, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems for aviation.
Coordinate project schedules, work on aircraft electrical problems,
Work with electrical drawings making moderations, upgrades and electrical updates as required.
3 years’ experience in utilizing computer-based software to setup communications with instruments, setup parameters, and download PLC/HMI programs.
Working knowledge of industrial control design and manufacturing.
Willingness to travel for customer, vendor, and internal meetings (1-2x monthly)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
