• Lead and manage civil design projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical expertise and support.
• Develop and design site plans, grading, drainage, and utility systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and assess the impact of new construction sites.
• Oversee all project stages, from initial layouts to final engineering designs.
• Survey new construction sites and evaluate existing structures for potential upgrades.
• Enhance CAD software drawings and schematics with innovative design improvements.
• Perform cost estimations and prepare detailed project budgets.
• Create work schedules, allocate resources, and supervise junior engineers, construction managers, workers, technicians, and contractors.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Inspect completed projects to ensure compliance with industry codes, specifications, and safety standards.
• Document processes and present project progress updates to senior managers and clients.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is highly preferred
• Must have 5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience, ideally from an engineering firm specializing in civil engineering, surveying, and architectural services
• Registered Professional Engineer License preferred; candidates without registration but with significant experience will also be considered.
• Must possesses proven project management experience with the ability to handle projects ranging from $3M to $250M+
• Must be proficient at using AutoDesk Civil 3D and/or Revit/BIM
• Must have knowledge of current civil engineering and construction specifications, standards, and codes
• Must possess strong time-management and organizational skills
• While not often, you must be available to perform occasional site visits or attend in-person client meeting when necessary (all travel would be local to the office and fully reimbursed)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
