LHH is seeking a Receiving Supervisor for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a distribution client located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is an opportunity to join a well-established organization that is an industry leader within their area of specialty. You will lead a small team as you oversee the receiving operations at the distribution center. The compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $55,000-60,000 per year and includes a comprehensive benefit package, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead receiving operations during your assigned shift which include oversight of the warehousing staff, product storage, and inventory control
- Coordinate all operational activities required for timely and efficient receipt and proper storage
Maintain accurate inventory transaction records by completing daily cycle counts and performing root cause analysis to identify and prevent future non-conformance issues
Ensures shipping documentation is in order for product sent to various markets.
Ensure maximum return on investment through effective operational performance and the successful completion of assigned projects
Administer performance management program
Evaluate and recommend training resources to support employee development
Follow corporate policies to meet both short and long term goals regarding safety, performance, and compliance
Maintain adherence to health and safety standards
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2 years of operations supervision experience within a warehousing and/or distribution environment is required
Must have experience working with an ERP and/or WMS system (i.e. SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, Red Prairie, etc.)
Must have experience resolving/preventing safety-related issues and reportables in a warehousing setting
Must possess the ability to maintain high level of detail and integrity while executing responsibilities
Must have experience in partnering with colleagues in all levels of an organization to drive priorities
