LHH is seeking an Engineering Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will oversee the engineering and new product launch while leading a team of process engineers. You will have the chance to spearhead capital projects, adopt best practices, and cultivate a high-performing team. The compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $125,000-145,000 per year and includes several medical coverage options, generous PTO, and a 401K program with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supervise engineering and operational staff, develop key performance indicators (KPIs), and collaborate with the Plant Manager to fulfill organizational goals
· Lead the creation, implementation, and continuous enhancement of efficient operations, policies, and procedures
· Develop and implement new technologies, processes, and strategies to achieve company objectives
· Conduct cross-functional meetings to support initiatives, create KPIs, and monitor performance against these measures
· Effectively manage processes, improve efficiencies, and reduce downtime
· Identify and apply best practices
· Write standard operating procedures (SOPs) and standardize practices to ensure consistency
· Create and maintain bills of materials, component parts, and manage all departmental expenses
· Perform cost-benefit analysis to assess the financial feasibility of continuous improvement projects
· Lead continuous improvement activities using Lean tools to reduce costs, improve quality, increase efficiency, and streamline material flow throughout the facility
· Prepare and execute capital projects
· Foster a proactive safety culture and ensure adherence to safety policies and quality assurance standards
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related STEM degree required
· Minimum of 10+ years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
· Minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience
