Position: Office Services Assistant Type: Long-term contract (approx. 6-9 months) Location: 100% onsite (77042 zip code) Pay Range: $24-26/hr DOE Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs, 7:30-5:30 and Fri, 7:30-11:30
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Services Assistant to join our Office Services team. In this role, you will assist with the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our facility to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment for all employees and visitors. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Assist in maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and organization of the facility.
Respond to facility-related requests from employees and visitors, including troubleshooting minor issues.
Manage office supplies, equipment, and furniture inventories, and place orders as needed.
Liaise with vendors and contractors for services such as cleaning, security, and repairs.
Perform regular inspections of the building, addressing any issues such as lighting, temperature, and general safety.
Assist in planning and coordinating facility events, meetings, and space setup.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to maintenance, repairs, and equipment.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years of experience in a corporate, administrative support capacity.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
