Position: Office Services Assistant Type: Long-term contract (approx. 6-9 months) Location: 100% onsite (77042 zip code) Pay Range: $24-26/hr DOE Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs, 7:30-5:30 and Fri, 7:30-11:30


SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Services Assistant to join our Office Services team. In this role, you will assist with the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our facility to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment for all employees and visitors. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:



  • Assist in maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and organization of the facility.


  • Respond to facility-related requests from employees and visitors, including troubleshooting minor issues.


  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and furniture inventories, and place orders as needed.


  • Liaise with vendors and contractors for services such as cleaning, security, and repairs.


  • Perform regular inspections of the building, addressing any issues such as lighting, temperature, and general safety.


  • Assist in planning and coordinating facility events, meetings, and space setup.


  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to maintenance, repairs, and equipment.



REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.


  • 1-3 years of experience in a corporate, administrative support capacity.


  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.


  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).


  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
