LHH is seeking an HR DIRECTOR for a contract-to-hire position in Richmond, TX.
Position: HR DIRECTOR Type: Direct Hire Location: 100% onsite (Houston, TX 77041) Salary Range: $110,000-120,000 annually DOE Work Schedule: M-F, 8 am-5 pm
Position Overview:
The HR Director will lead and support the HR department and oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role is crucial in influencing the company's culture, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and driving initiatives to support the company's growth and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
Oversee employee onboarding, training, and development programs.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
Nurture a positive working environment and culture.
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent work experience preferred.
Proven working experience as HR Manager or HR Director.
Experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
