Accounts Payable Clerk
Bilingual (Spanish and English)
The Bilingual Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing and managing the company’s payables, ensuring that all vendor payments are made accurately and on time. This role will require frequent interaction with both internal teams and external vendors, so strong communication skills in both English and Spanish are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in QuickBooks.
Payment Management: Schedule and prepare payments (checks, ACH, credit card, etc.) to vendors in a timely manner.
Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors to resolve payment discrepancies, inquiries, and payment terms.
Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including invoices, payment history, and vendor details.
Month-End Closing: Assist in month-end closing activities, ensuring all payables are recorded and reconciled.
Data Entry: Ensure accurate and timely data entry of all payable transactions into QuickBooks.
Reporting: Generate accounts payable reports as needed for management and internal auditing purposes.
Multilingual Support: Provide bilingual support for any vendor or internal team communication, as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
Software Proficiency: Strong experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Bilingual: Fluency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices and payments.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in accounting or related field is a plus.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
