Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Contract Specialist for a temporary assignment with our client based in Hillsboro, Oregon. This role will focus on reviewing, editing, and redlining a variety of commercial agreements. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in contract review and revision. Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing a variety of standard customer contracts, including Non-Disclosure Agreements, Sales Agreements, Purchase Orders, Consulting Agreements, and Service Agreements
Identifying key contract terms and suggesting revisions related to payment terms, indemnification, liability limitations, insurance requirements, and warranty language
Redlining agreements and preparing recommendations for internal review and external negotiation
Collaborating with internal teams to align on contract terms and ensure timely turnaround of documents
Maintaining organized contract records and documentation throughout the negotiation process
Providing general guidance on contract practices and flagging risk-related provisions as needed
Supporting contract compliance with internal policies and risk considerations
Managing multiple agreements simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience reviewing, editing, and redlining commercial contracts
Strong understanding of standard contract types and legal terminology
Skilled in identifying risk and proposing contract language revisions
Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and contract redlining tools
Experience in the construction industry preferred
