We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Planner job in High Point, NC! This is a fully on-site position. In this role you are responsible for maintaining and tracking production stock levels to ensure a smooth inventory flow from their factories/suppliers to their customers and distribution centers. You are working alongside VP of Supply chain and Planning Manager and very closely with internal counterparts such as logistics and customer service. We are looking for someone who has at least 3 years of experience in a supply chain capacity, logistics experience a plus, Netsuite and furniture experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Monitor Master Distribution Schedule and Master Production Schedule tools to identify inventory needs and send proposals to SC Planning Manager.
Create, follow up and track all production orders (Master Production Schedule tool).
Direct orders monitored through shipment from factory.
Non-direct orders monitored through receipt at destination.
Create and monitor shipping orders (purchase order break outs by destination).
Work with QC Team to ensure timely production completion on 1st cuttings.
Maintain day to day communication with factories regarding all open production and shipments.
Discuss any factory schedule changes with internal SC team and factory before updating production order file and/or communicating with other internal depts., as appropriate.
Make any approved production order and/or shipping order changes in system and alert proper teams.
Monitor Container Booking Master to ensure booking requests are being placed and customers/freight forwarders are approving timely (factories responsible for some bookings, planners responsible for others).
Create agenda and run biweekly factory meetings (as requested).
Back Up Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator, as necessary.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in supply chain.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams).
Netsuite experience preferred.
Manufacturing experience required.
Must be detail oriented and exhibit excellent time management skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business teams.
Ability to learn difficult concepts quickly while offering creative solutions to problem solving.
Ability to set priorities effectively.
Excellent verbal/written communication skill.
