Responsibilities:
Mainly responsible for overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing process to ensure the efficient production
Manage daily production activities to ensure products are manufactured on time, within budget, and to quality specifications.
Analyze production data and key performance indicators to identify trends and optimize production processes
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations throughout the production process to deliver high-quality products to customers.
Lead, train, and motivate production staff, including setting performance goals and conducting regular performance reviews.
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and operational goals.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards and customer specifications.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure operational effectiveness.
Manage production budgets, control costs, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Prepare and analyze production reports, including performance metrics, and provide insights to senior management.
Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with the Purchasing team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
Utilize ERP systems (SAP) to track and manage production data and optimize resource allocation.
Provide direction, coordination and evaluation of staff and carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of meaningful, related experience within a manufacturing environment coupled with an understanding of business practices.
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to coordinate production activities and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Proficiency in planning, executing, and monitoring production projects to ensure they meet deadlines and budget constraints.
Knowledge of production technologies, equipment, and industry standards relevant to the manufacturing process.
Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP)
Ability in identifying production bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and issues, and implement effective solutions to improve production efficiency and quality.
Ability to manage and adapt to change within the Manufacturing environment. This includes implementing new processes, technologies, or organizational changes effectively.
Being flexible in responding to changes in schedules, production demands, or unexpected events. This includes the ability to work under pressure and manage stress effectively.
Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt would be a plus
