Project Manager

Our client, seeks a highly skilled Project Manager to join their team. This on-site contract position offers an initial term of 6 months with the potential to extend up to 18+ months and provides a competitive hourly rate of up to $55.00 per hour. Greensboro, NC 27401

In this role, you will lead and manage the implementation of a new Human Capital Management (HCM) system, ensuring a smooth and successful transition.



  • Leverage your expertise in various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, Lean) to develop and execute a comprehensive project plan.


  • Coordinate effectively with cross-functional and matrix-based teams, fostering collaboration and achieving project goals.


  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.


  • Provide exceptional leadership, influencing and motivating project stakeholders, particularly in a hybrid and virtual environment.


  • Experience with Workday implementation projects is a plus.


You'll be responsible for:



  • Project Management & Coordination: Develop and implement work plans, tracking systems, and communication plans to keep projects on track.


  • Communication: Clearly communicate project progress to leadership and stakeholders at all levels.


  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Create and manage a collaborative platform (e.g., SharePoint) to ensure easy access to project documents for key stakeholders.


  • Mentorship & Continuous Improvement: Provide guidance and support to project team members, advocate for continuous improvement based on project learnings, and optimize project outcomes.


To be successful, you'll have:



  • A Bachelor's degree (PMP certification preferred).


  • 7+ years of progressive project management experience.


  • Proven success in leading complex, multi-phased enterprise-wide projects, preferably in the healthcare industry.


  • Expertise in employing various project management methodologies.


  • Experience managing cross-functional and matrix-based teams.


  • Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a hybrid or virtual environment.
