Corporate & Real Estate Paralegal

$85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per Year


This hybrid role offers the flexibility of two day remote work per week, while fostering collaboration through in-office presence. You will play a vital role in supporting Real Estate attorneys with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions and corporate due diligence. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with a strong foundation in real estate law and a desire to work in a fast-paced team orientated environment.



Responsibilities:



  • Draft and review commercial real estate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, sale agreements, leases, and loan documents.


  • Conduct legal research on real estate laws, regulations, and zoning requirements.


  • Assist with due diligence investigations, reviewing title reports, surveys, and environmental reports.


  • Coordinate with clients, title companies, lenders, and other professionals involved in the transaction.


  • Prepare closing documents and ensure timely and accurate closings.


  • Assist with legal filings with local and state government agencies.


  • Maintain and organize case files electronically and in hard copy.


  • Meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy in all work performed.



Qualifications:



  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate law and corporate transactions


  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate law and transaction processes.


  • Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and electronic management systems (iManage preferred)


  • Experience with real estate legal research databases a plus.


  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


  • Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment and manage time effectively when working remotely.
