This hybrid role offers the flexibility of two day remote work per week, while fostering collaboration through in-office presence. You will play a vital role in supporting Real Estate attorneys with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions and corporate due diligence. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with a strong foundation in real estate law and a desire to work in a fast-paced team orientated environment.
Responsibilities:
Draft and review commercial real estate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, sale agreements, leases, and loan documents.
Conduct legal research on real estate laws, regulations, and zoning requirements.
Assist with due diligence investigations, reviewing title reports, surveys, and environmental reports.
Coordinate with clients, title companies, lenders, and other professionals involved in the transaction.
Prepare closing documents and ensure timely and accurate closings.
Assist with legal filings with local and state government agencies.
Maintain and organize case files electronically and in hard copy.
Meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy in all work performed.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate law and corporate transactions
Strong understanding of commercial real estate law and transaction processes.
Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and electronic management systems (iManage preferred)
Experience with real estate legal research databases a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment and manage time effectively when working remotely.
