Workers Compensation Claims Administrator


Location: Emeryville, CA (Hybrid – In Office Monday/Tuesday/Thursday) Pay Rate: $25 to $30/hour Duration: 3+ Months Start Date: ASAP


About the Role:

We're seeking a detail-oriented Workers Compensation Claims Administrator to join our team on a contract basis. This role will be essential in managing workers compensation claims and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Administer and track Workers Compensation claims from start to resolution


  • Ensure accurate and timely OSHA reporting in accordance with regulatory criteria


  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for all claims


  • Collaborate with HR, safety teams, and insurance providers as needed


  • Generate and analyze reports using Excel to support case management and trend tracking


Qualifications:



  • Experience handling Workers Compensation claims administration


  • Solid understanding of OSHA reporting requirements and compliance standards


  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level preferred)


  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently


Schedule:



  • Hybrid: In-office required on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday


  • Remote work on Wednesday and Friday
