LHH is working with a manufacturing company based in Elmhurst, IL that is looking to hire an IT Administrator to join our team for a 2+ month project (good possibility of extension). The role will require 100% onsite.
The Role:
Manage user accounts, set up permissions, and monitor system health while safeguarding the firm's data and ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
Deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines, storage, and networking resources for Windows operating systems in an on-premise environment.
Implement foundational security and compliance features, including:
Identity & Access Management
Exchange Online & Microsoft Teams
Data Management & Governance
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Assist in addressing information security issues, develop and maintain the Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M), and support remediation activities.
Qualifications & Traits:
Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts in a legacy Windows Active Directory environment.
Understanding of Group Policies and DNS.
Strong understanding of Local and Wide Area Networks, including OSI layers and how networks and applications interconnect.
Experience:
Associate of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Bachelor's degrees are highly preferred.
2-5 years of experience operating in an on-premise, legacy Windows environment, administering Windows Servers, and other aspects of technical administration.
