LHH Recruitment Solutions has a Program/Project Manager for our client in the East Brunswick, NJ area. This fully on-site direct hire role focuses on strong leadership skills with a proven technical background in engineering project/product management, preferably related to RF and/or DC technologies. This position requires a strong background in negotiations skills internally and externally as well as highly versed in project planning and collaboration with planning teams, creating project schedules. Ideal candidates will have a minimum five years’ experience within production management most recently within a technological manufacturing environment. Aerospace and wireless technology experience highly preferred.
Salary range: $100,000 to $120,000
Responsibilities:
Manage daily activities and work collaboratively regarding aspects of production plans developed maintaining budget, scope and on time deliverables.
Manage, identify, and resolve problems relating to inventory and future potential issues mitigation.
Manage the project/program engineering project portfolio.
Oversee project documentation such as plans, specifications, and engineering estimates, and organize project data.
Prepare and conduct meetings with internal teams to plan and track deliverables.
Collaborate and interact with various teams such as Engineering, Production, Sales, Project Management, Quality, and Procurement.
Conflict resolution with stakeholders on matters such as interpretation of specifications.
Manage and perform project estimation and scheduling.
Be the face of the organization as the main point of contact for clients for major design and production projects.
Create, maintain and present a list of project milestones and any foreseeable or present issues.
Assist in global deployment scalability.
Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Current working knowledge of ITAR Regulation and Export Compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering or a related Engineering field preferred.
Extensive experience in the Aerospace/Defense industry.
Experience with Communications Systems, RF preferred.
PMP Certification preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Certification is preferred.
Proven ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and clients.
Proven ability to organize work, set priorities, meet critical deadlines, and follow up on assignments with minimal supervision.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and protect privileged client information and documents.
Proven time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership skills.
Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.
Proven tech abilities in using Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project.
Travel to key domestic customers may be occasionally required.
