Accounts Receivable Specialist

$22.00 - $26.00 per Hour
- Process incoming payments, including checks, credit card payments, and electronic transfers.
- Reconcile customer accounts to ensure all payments are accurately recorded.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or billing issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices and payment reminders.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation related to accounts receivable activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with relevant accounting regulations and principles.
