National Automotive Technical Sales Account Manager- Hybrid

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a highly motivated Remote National Automotive Technical Sales Account Manager to join our client's team.


In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of our cutting-edge testing and measurement solutions within the automotive, aerospace, and industrial industries across the United States.


The client is offering: Salary plus uncapped commissions- OTE $175K-$190K, PTO, Auto allowance, cell phone reimbursement, travel expense account, Benefits- Medical, Dental & Vision, & Growth opportunity


Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the automotive sector.



  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders at automotive and aerospace OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and testing facilities.


  • Understand customer needs and requirements and recommend appropriate testing and measurement solutions to meet their objectives.


  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to provide customized solutions and address customer inquiries or challenges.


  • Coordinate product demonstrations, presentations, and technical seminars to showcase our capabilities and value proposition.


  • Track sales activities, pipeline development, and market trends using CRM tools and reporting systems.


  • Provide regular updates, forecasts, and insights to senior management on sales performance and market dynamics.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering


  • 5 + years of a proven track record of success in technical sales, preferably within the automotive and aerospace industry.


  • Deep understanding of testing and measurement technologies, including sensors, data acquisition systems, and testing software.


  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills with the ability to close complex sales deals.


  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.


  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.


  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50% or as needed) to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events.


  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite.
