LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Cash Posting Specialist, for a full-time, Contract position in DeLand, FL. This is a great opportunity with an organization who is seeking an experienced candidate to start immediately! The anticipated hourly pay rate range for this position is between $15 and $16. Responsibilities:

• Greets and interacts with patients
• Fast Paced data entry
• Applies payments and/or denials to the appropriate patient claim
• Select denial codes in AR system
• Posting adjustments and corrections
• Seek resolution and perform adjustments
• Balances posted amounts
• Update cash batch tracking, prioritize workload, resolves work queues, and adjusts misapplied payments timely.

Experience/Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Minimum of 6 months medical office or data entry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and how to read and locate information on insurance remittance advice or invoices preferred
• Minimum of 50 wpm typing speed preferred
• Strong 10-key skills by touch preferred Intermediate computer skills

Working Conditions:

• 100% onsite
• M- F, 8-hour days
