Position: Accounting Analyst
Location: Onsite in Davis, CA
Pay: $38-40 per hour

Key Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Yardi
Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Accounting Analyst to support our financial operations. This role involves analyzing data, preparing reports, and assisting in strategic financial decision-making. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting and tax principles, and a willingness to learn about various business operations. Responsibilities:
Create financial reports, statements, and presentations for stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes.
Maintain precise financial records and documentation.
Process 1099s and ensure tax reporting compliance.
Manage and renew business licenses promptly.
Prepare and file county fictitious business name statements as required.
Maintain and troubleshoot office technology.
Assist in calculating and remitting pass-through entity elective tax.
Support financial analysis tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Help prepare year-end close and accounting work for external CPA.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of financial statements, ratios, and performance metrics.
Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
