We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for a growing service company in Dallas. This position will work directly with finance and operations leadership on all Financial Planning & Analysis activities. They will wear many different hats to support the business as they continue to grow. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for ad-hoc analysis, budgeting, forecasting, monthly financial reporting & analysis, trend analysis and key performance indicators.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, proactive, analytical, with strong communication skills, and eager to take on new challenges. This is a hybrid position (1-2 days/week in office) and pays 120K-125K+Bonus.
Candidates MUST Reside Full time in DFW with no exceptions.
The Senior Financial Analyst responsibilities includes:
Prepare monthly financial reporting package, quarterly Board Meeting reports and Board presentations
Develop financial models and present analytics to support management team
Conduct various industry and market analyses
Prepare and review financial variances between Actual/Budget/Forecast financial results
Provide support on the monthly close process, including review of variance analyses, key trends, and performance metrics
Continuously analyze revenue and expense drivers to incorporate trends into financial forecasts
Leads the compilation, consolidation, and analysis of company financial reports for forecasts and the long-range financial plan.
Analyze and interpret financial results and operational performance measures.
Assist with the coordination, preparation, and reporting for the annual budget.
Provide a critical level of support on general special projects, financial analysis, problem resolution and other business/financial analysis related needs that affect the Company.
Requirements/Qualifications include the following:
Bachelors in finance or business related degree
5+ years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience; preferably in medium sized to large company and high growth environment
Advanced Excel; prefer datamining, SQL, Power BI, Macros or related experience is a plus
Demonstrated capability delivering financial reporting models to various stakeholders
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with all levels within the Company, and the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance personnel
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including drawing connections between operational drivers and financial results
Ability to work independently while adding value to team projects
