Senior Controller

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a Real Estate client in Dallas to hire a Controller for an in-office role. This position offers a salary range of $100-150K, depending on experience, plus a bonus and an excellent benefits package. This company is rapidly expanding through acquisitions, offering significant potential for career advancement.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain financial records for multiple properties.

· Conduct comprehensive financial analysis.

· Manage treasury functions.

· Accurately document and analyze financial transactions.

· Reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts.

· Support month-end closing activities.

· Prepare financial, management, and investor reports.

· Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

· Engage professionally with vendors, clients, and external partners.

· Enhance efficiencies by improving processes and procedures.

· Lead and manage a team of accountants.

Qualifications:

· A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; CPA certification or candidacy is advantageous.

· A minimum of 4 years of comprehensive accounting experience is required.

· Experience in property accounting or possession of a CPA license is essential.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

· Familiarity with property accounting software is a plus.
