Litigation Legal Assistant

This role will play a vital role in supporting insurance defense attorneys with all aspects of litigation matters.
Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to a team of litigators.
Prepare. edit, and format legal documents related to litigation, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, etc.
Assist attorneys with trial preparation
Organize and maintain case files electronically and in hard copy, ensuring exceptional attention to detail.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
Assist with attorney timekeeping, expense reports, and calendaring deadlines
Manage deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy in all work performed.
Qualifications:
4+ years of legal assistant experience at a law firm supporting insurance defense matters
Strong understanding of legal terminology and concepts related to litigation procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with legal research databases a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also collaborating effectively with attorneys and other team members.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
