Accounts Receivable – Collections:

The Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist is tasked with administering to all aspects of Accounts Receivable, billing, collections, and cash application processes within a complex ERP system. Shared services department that will include accurately billing customers for work completed in a timely fashion, ensuring that all accounts receivable related transactions are recorded accurately and timely, and maintaining customer records and collections. This role will also serve as a liaison between the customer and the local project managers and sales teams. They will provide excellent timely customer service to both internal and external customers.

Location: Dallas, TX 75248 Compensation: $24.00 - $25.00 Per Hour Depending on Experience Responsibilities:



  • Oversee all collection account receivables by working on aging and keeping DSO at an acceptable company level.


  • Follow established department procedures on collection efforts and escalation points.


  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the collection’s services by establishing and maintaining service delivery standards for internal partners and external customers.


  • Communicate all outstanding balances with the customer in a timely manner.


  • Identify and work with leadership on reducing risk daily by reporting and escalations.


  • Reconcile customer portals to ensure all invoices are uploaded successfully to prevent payment delays.


  • Reconcile and work on customer disputes with the internal team by reporting all discrepancies.


  • Work closely with other key departments to ensure the completion of all follow-up correspondence and open tasks.


  • Assist the Manager and Supervisor by mitigating problems for a resolution.


  • Ad hoc reporting


Requirements:



  • Associate degree or bachelor’s Degree preferred.


  • 3 - 5 accounts receivable experience


  • 3 - 5 years of SAP by Design experience is highly preferred


  • Strong math skills, ability to communicate effectively, and solid analytical skills.


  • Knowledge of Excel (Intermediate level: v-lookup, pivot tables) and other Microsoft Office applications.


  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
