LHH has partnered with a construction company located in the West Dallas area looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The candidate must have full-cycle experience including processing invoices, vendor statement reconciliations, and purchase order management. They are using NetSuite but it is not required. The role is contract to hire and paying $23-25/hr.
RECORD KEEPING:
Facilitate payment of invoices due by setting bill due date reminders
Communicate with vendors to research and resolve all vendor issues
Maintain historical records by scanning invoices in the virtual filing system
Maintain vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Checks all invoices and obtains appropriate coding/payment approval
Review invoice coding for accuracy
Ensure accurate and timely entry of invoices
Process employee expenses on a regular basis
Report sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices as needed
Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
Perform monthly account reconciliations
Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos
