LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Software Development Lead Engineer for a client of ours in the Corona, California Area. A little about role, you will take charge of leading the IT Operations team, overseeing critical aspects like system operations, change management, configuration management, user support, and training. You will leverage your technical expertise to build, deploy, and maintain software systems that ensure peak performance across essential applications.


This is a contract position, is permanent/ direct hire position.

Responsibilities


• Provide technical leadership and direction to the IT Operations team.


• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain project standards, troubleshoot issues, and overcome operational challenges.


• Lead troubleshooting, recovery, and root cause analysis efforts.


• Communicate effectively regarding service interruptions, changes, and updates to stakeholders at all levels.


• Implement Agile, Kanban, and Scrum methodologies to optimize operations tasks and resource allocation.


• Evaluate existing operations, facilitate improvement discussions, and schedule training sessions.


• Develop and enhance standard operating procedures for application support and maintenance.


• Gather and report operational metrics to ensure compliance with service level agreements.


• Coordinate with application leads to execute maintenance software releases and oversee hardware and software licenses.


• Partner with Executive Leadership and Finance to synchronize development schedules, budgets, and resource plans.


•Identify and recommend best practices to improve operational efficiency, including automation initiatives.


Qualifications


• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.


Minimum of 5 years of relevant Tech experience and 3 years of leadership experience.


• Proven expertise in technical diagnostics and troubleshooting.


• Experience in software development, with a focus on e-commerce platforms, ERP, CRM, EDI, API, WMS, TMS, or similar systems (a plus).


• Strong leadership and organizational skills.


• Ability to foster positive and collaborative relationships with staff and clients.


•Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.


Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 annually, plus performance incentives and gas reimbursement.
