- Administer servers (physical and virtualized), LAN, and WAN, including troubleshooting and liaising with external partners.
- Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and telecommunication issues.
- Deliver help desk support.
- Oversee procurement of technical equipment for central and remote offices (e.g., laptops, VOIP, smartphones, peripherals, printers/copiers/fax machines).
- Support and maintain computer systems, desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software for corporate and remote users, including installation, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Install new equipment as it arrives.
- Place support calls with vendors as needed for new and existing equipment.
- Provide support to all production computers/systems.
- Maintain backup of files, security, and rights according to corporate policies.
- Administer facility security (access, cameras, badges).
- Administer PBX/voicemail systems.
- Ensure all users have the technology tools needed to perform their functions.
- Maintain an inventory of all IT equipment and software.
- Ensure appropriate software installation and setup in accordance with corporate policy.
- Assist with data and voice communication wiring when needed.
- Assist with the development, testing, documentation, and implementation of new systems.
- Follow all relevant policies and procedures (5S, Safety, ARCLA policies, especially IT policies).
- Associate/2-year degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience in PC support and software support.
- MS Certified preferred – Knowledge of MS Exchange/Outlook.
- CCNA Certified preferred – 3-5 years experience with Cisco networks.
- Network interface card installation and configuration experience.
- Experience with Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, vSphere).
- Strong understanding of LAN, WLAN, VLAN, DHCP, DNS.
- Printer and print server installation, configuration, and maintenance experience.
- Working knowledge of Ethernet Networking, TCP/IP, Firewalls (Palo Alto), and Cyber Security.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
