LHH has partnered with an incredible and prestigious nonprofit organization in Columbia, MD to identify a Staff Accountant! This position is a key player in maintaining balanced books and ensuring proper maintenance and recording of grants and awards!
Job Responsibilities:
Process invoices for accounts payable.
Review and reconcile petty cash.
Prepare and post journal entries.
Perform general ledger and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze accounting reports.
Assist with month-end close and audits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
2+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a nonprofit setting.
Proficiency with MS Excel and QuickBooks.
